Loving how my festive Parkamoors look with the winter sun streaming in today 🎄✨
I’ve really fallen off my #makesocksmendsocks2022 project , but I’m hoping to tot up my made and mended socks before the year is out (and subtract the ones that have gone to the mending pile) to see where I got to! These would be my November pair .. some plain socks in beautiful self patterning yarn! I cast these on at the end of @shopknittingnellie #keepitsimplekal after falling for a pair she was knitting. My lovely mom @knit1prltoo found a ball of this Trekking yarn for me .. I adore these stripes! These were my first proper cast on after Hazel was born, so it seems apt to have finished them as our fourth trimester together ends 🥹
How lucky am I to live in a spot with so many vibrant, absolutely amazing independent shops — and to have a friend come visit to share it with! ✨
What a difference a strand of mohair makes!
Squeezing in a few rounds whenever I can!
I finished my Burgos Vest a few weeks ago, and it’s definitely one of my favorite makes of 2022. It was my first garment- for -me cast on post-Hazel, and I found it to be a super fast knit (which is saying something … knitting time is in short supply at the moment!)
