A rare quiet moment, knitting with my little 🎃

Finished on Thursday afternoon. Worn to bed Thursday night, on a walk to spot birds Friday morning and for a splash in puddles with her friend Saturday. Into the wash Saturday evening. These little socks have had an eventful first 72 hours of their finished object life 🪡🐦💦

A week ago today we welcomed our second daughter to the world, and she could not be more perfect 🧡loving settling into life as a family of four, and so thankful for the family and friends who have helped us. I’m sure I’ll share more at some point, but for now I’m just trying to soak up newborn snuggles and toddler cuddles with the two very best things I’ve ever helped to make 🧡🧡🧡
