Yarnalong: Rocquaine & Consider the Fork

2017-01-03 15.24.19.jpg

Knitting: Rocquaine … still … but it’s almost done! Since the snapping of this picture yesterday afternoon, I’ve just about finished the second sleeve!  Just the bottom ribbing to go!

Reading: Consider the Fork, by Bee Wilson.  Mr. N got me this for Christmas — a book that combines history and cooking — what could be better? Right now I’m on the first chapter about the history of pots and pans, and it’s filled with fabulous tidbits and morsels of information.

You can see what everyone else is reading at the original Yarnalong post.  What are you working on this week?

  1. That is great progress on your jumper. I’m trying to get in more knitting this week; making thank you cards took precedence and my uncle’s birthday card which needs a bit of distressing to finish it off. I’ve been knitting a bit at night. Trying to finish up the second Frankie so I can cast on my first sock for the Box of Sox KAL.
