Knitting: After some serious neglect, my Rocquaine is back in rotation! Picking up the sleeve stitches was a a bit fiddly, but now I’ve got my first sleeve going — hopefully it will be smooth (and speedy) sailing!
Reading: The Sussex Downs Murder, by John Bude. I spotted this book while walking around Manhattan Beach with Mr. N (also, hoorah, I’m in California!) and couldn’t resist a British mystery with a delightfully vintage looking cover. This, despite the fact that I’ve made almost no progress in Remembering Babylon. I’ve only read a few pages of each now — must get in bed earlier to have more time for reading!
Head over to the original Yarnalong post to see what others are knitting and reading this week. And as always, I’d love to hear what you’re working on at the moment in the comments!
Happy Wednesday!
I need to go to bed earlier for the same reason. I’d really like to get more reading done!

What a pretty sweater — I love all the texture! The book looks good too; I’m a sucker for any British historical fiction, especially mysteries!
