It’s been a bit of a crazy week here, but I didn’t want today to come and go without popping in to say Happy Mother’s Day!
I am so thankful for my wonderful mom. Not only did she teach me how to knit and cook, but she came up with the name for this blog — thanks, Mom!
One of my favorite things about knitting is doing it with my mom — even when we’re far apart, we spend a little bit of time almost ever day chatting about knitting and planning projects together. We do mini-KALs together all the time — including, most recently, the May Cardigan, and we’re about to cast on for Islay together as well! I feel so lucky for my mom for so many reasons, but I especially love that we share a passion for fiber (and food!)
So happy Mother’s Day to my mom, and all the other knitting and cooking mamas out there!
